
Redbirds ready to celebrate PCL Championship

MEMPHIS, TN - The Memphis Redbirds are ready to show off their newest trophy after winning their second Pacific Coast League Championship with a three-game sweep of Sacramento last month.
The Redbirds will welcome their fans to AutoZone Park on Thursday, October 8 beginning at 6 p.m. to the home clubhouse for a championship celebration. Fans can pose for pictures with Rockey and the 'Birds 2009 PCL Championship trophy during the event while enjoying complimentary food and beverages. The field will be open for fans to play catch and each person in attendance will receive a commemorative ticket. PCL Championship t-shirts will also be on sale.
