MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that registration at Game Crazy locations in Mission and Weslaco, the Vipers Pro-Shop and rgvipers.com is now open for the NBA Live Gaming Tournament to be held on October 3 from 12-to-3:00 p.m. at the McAllen Convention Center.
Registration is $30 per person and is open to fans of all ages. It includes a free t-shirt and a free ticket to the Vipers' home opener on December 4 at 7:30 p.m. against the Tulsa 66ers at Dodge Arena for each player.
The last day for registration is September 23.
The champion will receive two tickets to the Rockets-Celtics game at Dodge Arena on October 7, two Vipers season tickets and a Sony PS3 Slim 120 GB. The second place finisher will receive a Game Crazy Gift Card and a Vipers half-season ticket package while the third place finisher will receive a Game Crazy Gift Card and a Vipers mini-season ticket package.
It will be among the first events of RGV Rocket Launch, a festival surrounding Houston Rockets Training Camp in the Rio Grande Valley.
