San Antonio Missions News Release
SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Missions President Burl Yarbrough announced today that the Missions will give all 2009 season ticket holders free tickets throughout the Texas League Playoffs. The unprecedented offer is simply a gesture of gratitude for the fans who have helped the Missions to their second consecutive increase in annual attendance in 2009.
"With the tough economic times that are upon us all, we wanted to reward our loyal fans for their continued support," said Yarbrough. "It has meant more to us this year than ever."
The Missions will begin their quest for a 12th Texas League title, and their fourth in seven years, on Wednesday, September 9th at Wolff Stadium at 7:05 pm with Game One of the Texas League Division Series. Game Two will follow Thursday, September 10th and will be a Dollar Night, featuring dollar hot dogs, soda, pizza and beer. Tickets are on sale now and are available at the Wolff Stadium Box Office, over the phone at (210) 675-7275, or online at www.samissions.com.
