Columbus Clippers News Release
COLUMBUS -- Wednesday night's International League game between the Columbus Clippers and the Scranton/WB Yankees has been canceled due to inclement weather.
The contest will not be made up due to a scheduling conflict, as Scranton/WB already has double headers scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Toledo (International League rules prohibit a team playing three straight double headers). Tomorrow's matchup between the two teams will go ahead as scheduled for a 7:05pm start. Scranton/WB will send RHP Josh Towers (3-5, 3.79) to the mound to face RHP Hector Rondon (2-0, 0.75) of Columbus.
Fans who purchased tickets to Wednesday night's game may exchange them for tickets of equal value to another 2009 regular-season home game. All exchanges are based on availability and must be made at the Columbus Clippers' Ticket Office.
