Colorado Rapids News Release

COMMERCE CITY, COLO. (Thursday, June 4, 2009) - U.S. Men's National Team Head Coach Bob Bradley announced today that Colorado Rapids forward Conor Casey has been added to the USA's roster for Saturday's match against Honduras at 6 pm MT at Solider Field in Chicago.

The Major League Soccer Player of the Month for May has nine career caps with the National Team; the most recent in the USA's 2-0 qualifying win against Guatemala on November 19, 2008 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Casey has been added as reinforcement pending the availability of Brian Ching, who aggravated a hamstring injury earlier this week and did not dress last night in the U.S.'s 3-1 loss to Costa Rica.

Casey joins Rapids' captain Pablo Mastroeni, who is already with the National Team, as the pair will miss Colorado's regular season match against their Rocky Mountain Cup rivals Real Salt Lake this Saturday, June 6 at Rio Tinto Stadium 8 pm MT.
