UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 3, 2009) - The Connecticut Sun announced Wednesday
it had claimed guard Kiesha Brown, who was waived by the Washington
Mystics.A seven-year veteran out of the University of Georgia, the 5-foot-10 Brown began her career with the Washington Mystics, and also played with Houston, New York, Minnesota and Los Angeles. She has averaged 3.3 points, 1.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds in her career.
The Sun currently have 14 players on their roster, and must be down to 11 players by 2 p.m. on Friday, June 5th.
