
Dream To Open Training Camp May 17

Atlanta, May 17, 2009- The Dream will open training camp on May 17, with 14 players set to compete for 11 final roster spots.
The Dream returns five players from last year's expansion squad-guards Iziane Castro Marques, Ivory Latta and Tamera Young, and forwards Erika De Souza and Jennifer Lacy. Making their debut for the Dream are some notable offseason acquisitions including, six-time WNBA All-Star Chamique Holdsclaw, number one draft pick Angel McCoughtry, Michelle Snow (free agent) and Sancho Lyttle (dispersal draft). Center Chantelle Anderson also will report to camp after missing last season with a torn ACL.
The Dream will tip off its second season on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 7 p.m. against the Indiana Fever.
