Stars, Thrivent Financial to Set World Record

This weekend the Huntsville Stars and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will attempt to break the record for the World's longest Wiffe ball game. The game will begin tonight after the Stars game against the Chattanooga Lookouts and continue until sundown Sunday afternoon.
The current world record was set last September by a group in Prior Lake, Minnesota, who played for 30 hours.
This weekend's event is scheduled to last until sundown Sunday night, approximately 44 hours, and will beneft Thrivent Builds. Fans can play all weekend long for only a $1 donation, 100% of which will be given to Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity.
"Everybody can play," explained Stars GM Buck Rogers. "You can help out a great charity and help set a new World Record."
With their $1 donation fans will receive a wristband to gain access to the feld and can come and go all weekend as they please.
