IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...

Bobbleheads Are Back!

On Friday, January 23rd, for the first time in five seasons, the Pirates gave away bobbleheads at a home game. The first 2,000 fans received a Kevin Kaminski bobblehead.

Darche Helps Pirates Beat Bridgeport in OT On Saturday, January 24th the Portland Pirates made it back-to-back wins over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers with a thrilling 2-1 win in overtime. Time Warner Cable will rebroadcast the game from Saturday, on Tuesday, January 27th 8:00 pm and Wednesday, January 28th at 3:00 pm. The game will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable's TWC-TV (Channel 22 in Cumberland and York Counties and channel 9 or 12 in other areas). 2009 AHL All-Star Classic Presented by Charter Communications Monday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday night, fans can watch Pirates forward Mark Mancari in the 2009 AHL All-Star Game at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The game will be televised locally on NESN starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will also be televised on TSN in Canada, a series of regional sports networks in the United States, AHL Live and the NHL Home Ice channel on Sirius XM Radio and XM Canada.

Pirates vs. Worcester Sharks at 7:00 p.m.

The Pirates honor Survivor: Gabon Winner, Robert "Bob" Crowley with a puck drop and autograph session. Plus, WBLM, WJBQ and WCYY will sponsor Guitar Hero Night! Fans can arrive early and test their skills in the main lobby for a chance to compete on the videoboard and win great prizes!

Dineen on WBLM 102.9 FM This Thursday, Portland Pirates head coach Kevin Dineen will join the Captain and Celeste on WBLM 102.9FM at 8:30 a.m. Tune to hear Dineen's thoughts on the upcoming weekend.
