Montreal Reassigns Loic Lacasse To Cincinnati

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that goaltender Loic Lacasse has been reassigned to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Lacasse, 22, played in eight games with the Bulldogs earning a 6-1-0 record with a 2.07 goals against average and 0.922 save percentage. The native of Granby, Quebec recorded his first-career AHL shutout on January 9th making 22 saves in a 3-0 win over the Lake Erie Monsters before recording his second shutout on January 16th making 28 saves in a 4-0 win also over the Monsters. Montreal's 6th round, 181st selection in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft has played in five games for the Cyclones this season and has a record of 2-1-1 while posting a 4.10 GAA and a .874 save percentage.

The 'Dogs host the North Division leading Manitoba Moose tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
