Wideman To Host Sunshine Dream Kids

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club is pleased to announce that former London Knight and current Boston Bruins Defenseman Dennis Wideman will host 12 children from the Sunshine Foundation of Canada at the London Knights game on Friday, November 21, 2008 vs. Peterborough. Wideman, 25 purchased the CJBK Radio Suite 33 for this Friday's game for $ 3,000 dollars at this past summer's London Knights' Charity Golf Tournament and donated it to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada.

Wideman has also donated Boston Bruins gifts and jersey's bearing his name for all kids attending that night. The London Knights and Sunshine Foundation of Canada would like to thank Dennis for his $ 3,000 dollar donation back in August 2008 and for his continued community efforts in London.

Wideman is currently in his 4th season in the National Hockey League. He graduated from the London Knights in 2003-2004.
