David Frizzell Named Executive VP

The Niagara IceDogs are pleased to announce the promotion of Director of Sales and Marketing David Frizzell to the position of Executive Vice President.

Frizzell, a native of Charlottetown, PEI, has been involved in all aspects of the business operations of an Ontario Hockey League team over his nine year career. From his humble beginnings as a Game Day Intern with the Sudbury Wolves, David began his career with the Brampton Battalion as the Marketing & Sales Coordinator in September, 2001. David joined the Mississauga IceDogs in the summer of 2003, where he assumed the role of Account Executive. During his tenure in Mississauga David was responsible for ticket sales, corporate sales, game day operations and community appearances. David relocated with the IceDogs from Mississauga on June 6th, 2007 when the IceDogs were purchased by Bill and Denise Burke.

David is excited to take on this new challenge as Executive Vice President of the Niagara IceDogs. Effective immediately he will oversee the day-to-day business operations of the team while providing overall leadership in ticket sales, corporate sales, game day operations, media and community relations.
