D.C. United Family Fun Day rescheduled for October 19

WASHINGTON, DC (October 17, 2008) - D.C. United's community event, Family Fun Day has been rescheduled for this Sunday, October 19. The event was originally scheduled for Sunday, September 7, but was postponed due to inclement weather. Following are details for D.C. United Family Fun Day.

What/Qué:

D.C. United welcomes the Washington, D.C. community to its D.C. United Family Fun Day. This Sunday, local community leaders and residents are expected to enjoy free barbecue, concert and games at Ketcham Elementary School. Ward 8's own Cold Rice Band will be providing entertainment, along with a DJ. D.C. United will provide give-away items. The event is free to the public and will be held rain or shine.

D.C. United invita a la comunidad de Washington, D.C. a su Día de Diversión Familiar. Este domingo, líderes y residentes de la comunidad del Ward 8 podrán disfrutar de un asado gratis con un concierto y juegos en la escuela Ketcham Elementary. La música será proveída por la banda local Cold Rice Band junto a un DJ y D.C. United estará repartiendo regalos. Este evento es completamente libre de costo y se celebrará no importa si llueva.
