
Brek Shea Out For The Year With Torn Meniscus

FRISCO, Texas (Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008) - FC Dallas rookie Brek Shea today underwent surgery to repair the torn medial meniscus in his right knee. He is expected to be out of action for 3-4 months.
The 18-year-old was the team's first pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, selected with the second overall pick in the First Round. In his first season, he appeared in two first-team games and made eight appearances with the Reserves.
