
On Brink of Advancing to PCL Finals, Cats Put Championship Series Tickets On Sale

West Sacramento, Calif. - With the River Cats holding a 2-games-to-1 series lead over the Salt Lake Bees in the teams' best-of-five first round playoff series, the team will put PCL Championship Series (2nd round) tickets on sale immediately. Tickets for second round games are available online at Rivercats.com, Ticketmaster.com and at the Raley Field Ticket Office, which will be open on Sunday, September 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in addition to normal Ticket Office hours (Ticket Office hours on Saturday are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., hours from Monday through Wednesday are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Full playoff strips and playoff group outings are available at the Raley Field Ticket Office and by calling 916-371-HITS. Good Tickets are still available.
Should the team advance to the PCL Championship Series, they will face the winner of the first-round match-up between the Iowa Cubs and the Oklahoma RedHawks. The PCL Championship series schedule is as follows (all times Pacific):

Gm. 1: Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Raley Field (7:05 p.m.)
Gm. 2: Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Raley Field (7:05 p.m.)

Gm. 4: Sat., Sept. 13 at American Conference Winner (Game Time TBA) - if necessary
Gm. 5: Sun., Sept. 14 at American Conference Winner (Game Time TBA) - if necessary
Playoff Promotional Schedule
The playoff promotional schedule will include Nestle Family Fun Nights - with $1 Hot Dogs and $1 Nestle Drumsticks - during every 2008 River Cats playoff game at Raley Field.
