
Tickets To Home Opener On Sale

Brandon, Manitoba - Tickets to the Brandon Wheat Kings' 2008 Coca Cola Home Opener, scheduled for Friday, September 19th at Westman Communications Group Place will go on sale Friday morning at the Keystone Centre box office.
In addition to the box office, western Manitoba hockey fans can also order by phone at 726-3555 or online at ticketmaster.ca.
The box office will also be open during tonight's Western Hockey League pre-season game at Westman Place between Brandon and Regina.
Tickets to Brandon's remaining 35 regular season games won't be available until Monday, September 22nd.
In a related story, the Wheat Kings have announced that they have surpassed the 2,200 mark in Season Ticket sales.
As of Thursday night, 2,202 season tickets have been sold. The Wheat Kings, who averaged over 4,100 fans per game during the 2007-08 regular season, sold over 2,700 season tickets last winter.
For the third straight season, the Wheat Kings, who finished second in the Eastern Division last winter with a 42-24-3-3 record, are offering western Manitoba hockey fans the most attractive season ticket pricing in all of Canadian major junior hockey.
2008-09 Season Ticket Prices:
Adults $299 plus GST
Youth (18 and Under) $149 plus GST
$299 equates to an average ticket price of $8.30 per game, which is less than half the regular admission price.
