Pats Drop First in Pre-Season

Brandon, Manitoba - A Scott Glennie goal with 14 seconds left in the second period turned out to be the winner, in a 3-2 Wheat Kings win over the Pats. Scoring for the Blue and White in their first loss of the season was Dallas Jackson and Jordan Weal with a pair of second period goals. The second half of the hockey game was dominated by Brandon goaltender Joe Caligiuri, who stopped all 18 shots in 29 minutes of play.

The two will meet again tomorrow night, 7pm at the Brandt Centre. The pre-season will continue next weekend, as the Pats will host the Saskatoon Blades next Friday night at 7pm. Then hit the road to the "Bridge City" 24 hours later at the Credit Union Centre.
