Regina Pats News Release
St. Albert, Alberta - The Regina Pats completed the three game sweep at the 2nd annual Edmonton Oil Kings pre-season tournament with a 4-2 win past the Prince George Cougars. Victor Bartley was strong again with three assists, and finished the tournament with a goal and seven assists in two games. Scott Doucet was also solid with a goal and an assist, he played two of the three games, finishing with a goal and three assists. Derek Tender and Damien Ketlo combined to stop 29 Cougar shots for the win.

The Pats will return home for a week of practice in preparation for a weekend home and home series with the Brandon Wheat Kings. It begins Friday night in Brandon, while Pats fans will get their first look at the 2008-09 club Saturday night, 7pm, at the Brandt centre.
