Rapid City Rush News Release
Rapid City Rush announced today that the time of their home opener against Colorado Eagles on November 29th, 2008 has changed from 7:05 pm to 2:05 pm. There was a scheduling conflict with the local Parade of Lights and the team moved their start time up to accommodate this long-standing community parade.
"We were unaware of this scheduling conflict at the time we submitted and approved our schedule, but as soon as we learned of it we worked quickly to accommodate both events," said General Manager Jason Rent. "We know how important the Parade of Lights is to the community and we encourage people to come out and see the first Rush home game and then partake in the festive Parade of Lights. This will be a great day for family entertainment."
Rush opens the season with a record-tying 14 road games on October 17th against the Eagles.
