Laredo Bucks News Release

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League have announced that they will hold their first ever "Night Out" at the LEC, on Thursday September 18th from 5-9pm. This is the first time ever for fans to get a behind the scenes look at the ice making process, as the LEC will be right in the middle of laying the ice for the 2008-09 season. The event is free and open to the public.

"This is the first time ever that we will allow fans to be inside the building as we lay the ice, it will be a unique experience for sure", said Bucks Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski. "This is the night we will be putting the ice logo's and the lines on the ice, it will be fun to watch".

This is a chance for fans to meet newly signed players for the 2008-09 season, and to talk hockey with Ruskowski and the team in the club level of the LEC.

There will be free food, and beverages for fans to enjoy throughout the night.

"We're excited for this event. Fans can come in and talk hockey, learn how the ice process works, and have a good time with us", Ruskowski said.

Fans will also have the opportunity to pick out their seats for this coming season, as the entire Bucks staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about payment plans and options.

The Bucks open training camp October 6th, and will start their seventh CHL season on October 17th at the LEC against the Rocky Mountain Rage.

To be eligible to win FREE GAS for a year courtesy of the Bucks, just buy or renew your Bucks season tickets by AUGUST 31st.
