Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
Kimberly-Clark has teamed up with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals to donate 200 tickets to the Boys & Girls Club of Benton County, which the club will use on Saturday, August 30th for the Naturals game against the Tulsa Drillers.
"Kimberly-Clark has long supported the Boys & Girls Club, both at a national and local level", said Tony Dunning, Kimberly-Clark Vice President of Wal-Mart Global Sales. "The Boys & Girls Club does so much to support children and families in our home towns. We are especially proud of our efforts within Northwest Arkansas. This is a great opportunity to partner with the Naturals and provide tickets to nearly 200 people in our area who use the Boys & Girls Club of Benton County on a regular basis."
Under a 'no wasted tickets' season ticket redemption policy, Naturals season ticket holders may donate unused season tickets from past games and gain the tax write-off and the Naturals will see that they are donated to youth and families who otherwise may not be able to afford to come to Naturals games. This season, the Naturals have donated several hundred tickets in addition to offering reduced-price fundraiser rates to other non-profit groups who buy large blocks of seats at Arvest Ballpark.
At Saturday's game, the Boys & Girls Club will have the privilege of seeing an exciting Naturals team on the cusp of making the Texas League Playoffs.
"Kimberly-Clark has been an incredible supporter of the Boys & Girls Club locally and nationally. Kimberly-Clark funds the Family Plus program which promotes healthy and strong families," said Jacob Huston, Chief Professional Officer, Boys & Girls Club of Benton County. "We at Boys & Girls Club of Benton County are excited about the opportunity to send nearly 200 kids and parents to the Naturals baseball game to help promote families spending quality time together. We look forward to working with Kimberly-Clark to better serve the kids and families in our area."
Any corporate or individual season ticket holders wishing to donate their unused tickets for the betterment of youth around Northwest Arkansas are encouraged to call the Naturals at (479) 927-4900. Season ticket holders may also use their unused tickets on our Season Ticket Holder Amnesty Day, Monday, September 1st, and redeem each unused ticket at our box office for a complimentary Subway Berm or General Admission ticket to the final regular season game of the 2008 season.
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The Naturals have a toll-free ticket hotline (1-877-444-2637) for fans to purchase Naturals tickets. Our website also offers fans the opportunity to purchase tickets online and avoid lines at the ticket windows by printing their tickets at home or at the office.
