Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports ended the home season at Fair Grounds Field like they started the season back in May, with a rainout. After being suspended last night in the third inning with El Paso, the two teams were scheduled for two games tonight, but because of rain in the Shreveport area throughout the day, the doubleheader was cancelled. Since the Sports and El Paso do not play again this season, these games will not be re-scheduled. The Sports will have an off day tomorrow and then play the final three games on the road at Sioux Falls, SD., starting Thursday.
