LAST GAME: Joaquin Arias and Nelson Cruz provided the offense as Oklahoma rallied twice to beat Round Rock 4-3 in 12 innings Tuesday evening. Nelson Cruz hit his 23rd home run of the year in the fourth inning to stake the RedHawks to an early lead, but the Express would notch runs in the fifth and sixth to take a 2-1 advantage. Cruz also hit a sacrifice fly in the eighth to tie the game. After Round Rock took a 3-2 advantage in the top of the 12th, Joaquin Arias hit a Two out, two-run home run to give Oklahoma a walk-off win.

JOAQ-OFF MAGIC: Joaquin Arias has factored in two of the RedHawks three walk-off wins this season. Arias was credited with a steal of home on June 10 against Nashville, giving Oklahoma a 4-3 victory. Arias' two run home run on Tuesday was Oklahoma first walk-off shot since David Matranga's extra inning blast April 15, 2007, an eighth inning home run in game two of a doubleheader against Memphis (1-0 OKL).

ROLLING ON:

Nelson Cruz extended his hitting streak to 15 games with a fourth inning home run on Tuesday night. Cruz also has a 25 games on- base streak dating back to May 28 (at Omaha). The hitting streak is the longest current run in the league and matches Taylor Teagarden's May streak as the longest by any RedHawk this season. Cruz's on-base streak is the second longest current string in the PCL (Colby Rasmus- 33 games) and matches Chris Davis' team high as the longest on-base streak by any RedHawk in 2008.

DAVIS GOES UP:

The Texas Rangers purchased Chris Davis' contract yesterday and designated former RedHawk Chris Shelton for assignment. Davis hit .333 for Oklahoma over 31 games since being promoted from Frisco on May 25, with ten home runs and 31 runs batted in. He had been near the top of several categories across all of the minor leagues, including home runs, runs scored, and runs batted in. Shelton began the year with Oklahoma, but had his contract purchased by Texas on April 29. Shelton hit .216 with two home runs and 11 runs batted in over 41 games with the Rangers. LONG TIME NO SEE: Oklahoma and Omaha meet for their third series this season when they take the field today, all three of which have come under unusual circumstances. The RedHawks and Royals met on eight straight days from May 27 through June 3 , playing one four-game series in Omaha and the other in Oklahoma City. This weekend the clubs will square off four times over roughly 45 hours, including a split doubleheader tomorrow.

OMAHA AT A GLANCE: The Royals are riding a current league-best six game winning streak, having won the last two games of a series at Round Rock on June 19 and 20 and then sweeping a four-game set at New Orleans. The Royals have outscored opponents 25-13 during this winning streak.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas lost 7-3 at Houston... Frisco beat Springfield 5-3... Bakersfield fell at Visalia 6-3... Clinton was shutout 2-0 by Beloit... Spokane edged Eugene 10-6.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Nelson Cruz hit home runs on Monday and Tuesday, the fifth time he has homered on consecutive days this season... Oklahoma's has a five game lead over Albuquerque in the division heading into play tonight... The RedHawks have been walked a league-high 16 times this season with the bases loaded. Only Oklahoma, Las Vegas (10), and New Orleans (10) are into the double digits in bases loaded free passes...
