Montreal Alouettes News Release

Montreal - A total of 175 kids from 7 to 11 years old will participate in the 12th edition of the Junior Alouettes Football Camps. Held at Percival Molson Stadium on May 10 and 11, the camps are presented by SUBWAY. With the Grey Cup coming to Montréal this year, kids are really excited by the camps.

The football training sessions are targeted towards kids between the ages of 7 and 11 and are personalized to their physical and learning abilities, and in accordance to their age groups. Acting as coaches, the Alouettes players will communicate their passion and knowledge of the game and reveal the secret tips that make them pros.

Among the players and alumni acting as coaches at these camps will be Uzooma Okeke, Danny Desriveaux, Brad Smith, André Bolduc, Anwar Stewart, Matthieu Proulx, Sylvain Girard, Bryan Chiu, Paul Lambert, Andrew Hamilton, John Bowman, and Bruno Heppell.

SUBWAY is involved with the Junior Alouettes Football Camps for the first year, but has been a long-time partner of the Montreal Alouettes with an increasing participation over the years in community-driven activities, as well as in-stadium and with football fans across the province of Quebec. This association is so successful due to the common core values of both organizations: encouraging a healthy lifestyle, as well as promoting the importance of our youth's well-being and sports.

Ten kids from the Sun Youth organisation will have the chance to take part in the camps thanks to TELUS who will assume the costs of enrolment and equipment rental. This unique experience will enable them to meet professional athletes and live unforgettable moments.

In addition to SUBWAY, the sponsors who help make these camps a success are TELUS, Biscuits Leclerc, and Sports Experts.
