This year - the tour's 12th - the Alouettes visited eight cities including Quebec, Chicoutimi, Drummondville, Rouyn-Noranda, Shawinigan, Sherbrooke, Hawkesbury and Rosemère, drawing hundreds of fans in each location. Profits of the games were split between local organizations or charities and the Success for Youth Foundation.
Over 15 current and former players laced up their skates including Ãric Deslauriers, Danny Desriveaux, Jeff Perrett, Brad Smith, Dave Stala, Matthieu Proulx, Shaun Diner, Bruno Heppell, Dave Mudge, Patrick Dorvélus, Philippe Girard, Sylvain Girard, Scott Flory, André Bolduc, Steve Charbonneau, Ed Philion and even the team president himself, Larry Smith.
The Alouettes would like to thank tour sponsor Oxycair as well as RDS and Ãnergie, who were a major part of the tour's success.
The Alouettes' hockey team will be back on the ice in January 2009.
