The Cleveland Indians announced today that they have recalled OF Ben Francisco from the Buffalo Bisons. Francisco will be in uniform for the Tribe tonight in Kansas City.

Last season, Francisco won the Intentional League Batting Championship with a .318 average for Buffalo. He was the first Bisons player to win a league batting title since Mark Ryal led the American Association in 1990 with a .334 average.
