JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Heavy thunderstorms throughout North Florida forced a postponement of the scheduled Saturday night meeting between the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (1-1) and Jacksonville Suns (1-1).
The two teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 3:05 p.m. Suns LH Marlon Arias and Diamond Jaxx LH Justin Thomas will meet in game one while Suns RH Jesus Castillo will face a Diamond Jaxx pitcher to be determined. A transaction is expected from West Tenn before tomorrow's doubleheader involving the second game starter.
Box seat tickets from Saturday's game can be exchanged at the Suns box office for any regular season home game. Tickets for Sunday's game are valid for both games of the doubleheader.
Sunday is Family Photo Day and Military Appreciation Day at the Baseball Grounds, sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union and Lite 96.1 FM. In addition all kids will receive a softee baseball and Sunday is Kids Run the Bases, sponsored by Metro PCS!
