Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Two teams that are looking to get into the playoffs will face-off tonight, as the Kalamazoo Wings battle the Bloomington PrairieThunder. On the season, Kalamazoo is 8-4-0-1 against Bloomington and are 3-3-0-0 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Winless in six in a row on the road, the K-Wings are looking to snap the streak in the middle game of a three-game road trip. Despite losing to Fort Wayne last night, Kalamazoo is still two points behind the Muskegon Fury for fourth place and trail the Flint Generals by three.
With eight games remaining in the regular season, Bloomington comes into the night eight points out of the playoffs. While the K-Wings have struggled on the road, the Thunder have done the same at home, dropping three of their last four contests at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
