
Kalamazoo rallies past PrairieThunder

BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - Muskegon scored three goals in the third period to earn a 3-1 International Hockey League victory over the Bloomington PrairieThunder before 3,134 people Saturday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Tyler Willis, Justin Cross and Nick Bootland found the net in third period against Derek Dolson as Klamazoo moved eight points ahead of the PrairieThunder in the standings with 69 points.
Don Parsons scored the PrairieThunder's lone goal in the first period with Brent Clarke getting the assist. Bloomington's record dropped to 27-35-3-4 and 61 points.
The PrairieThunder returns to action Sunday with a 3 p.m. game at Flint.
