
Barnstormers Annual Job Fair March 5

LANCASTER, Pa.-The Lancaster Barnstormers will host their Annual Job Fair for game-day employees on Wednesday, March 5 in the Wheatland Suite at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The job fair will begin at 6 p.m. for employees who have worked for the team in the past and for new applicants.
The Barnstormers are looking to fill the following part-time, game-day positions: ticket takers/sellers, parking attendants, ushers, bat boys/girls, customer service, grounds crew and food service. Job seekers must be at least 14 years of age and have appropriate working papers if under the age of 17.
"The quality and enthusiasm of our game-day employees are big reasons why we've welcomed more than a million fans in our first three years," Barnstormers general manager Kevin Cummings said. "These jobs have proven to be a good fit for teachers and students in search of seasonal work and active retirees."
Some of the benefits of being Game Day Staff include tickets for games, discounted food/drinks, merchandise discounts while employed and an enjoyable work environment.
The Barnstormers will open the 2008 season at home on Friday, April 25, 2008 against the Bridgeport Bluefish.
