Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
Three months to go until home opener, three more players on the Goldeyes roster.
Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today the signing of right-hander Brandon Kintzler, southpaw Zach Baldwin and outfielder Luke Hetherington. Winnipeg now has 14 players under contract for 2008, eight of whom are pitchers.

Baldwin, 24, comes to town after spending the last two years in the Washington system. Able to do double duty, he is a career 5-11 in 39 games with a 4.03 ERA, including a 3-2 mark with two saves and a 3.48 ERA in 19 relief appearances.
Hetherington, 24, spent the last seven years in the Blue Jays system. A career .266 hitter in 389 games that can play all three outfield spots, he batted .280 last year with Dunedin of the Florida State (A+) League while leading the club in stolen bases.
