Erie Otters News Release

Waterford, PA - On Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tullio Arena, Troyer Farms and the Erie Otters will set a Guinness World Record at the Tullio Arena for "The Most People Eating Potato Chips at the Same Time!"

In appreciation to their customers for the last 40+ years, Troyer Farms is asking chip lovers and sports fans to be part of history when the Otters face the Saginaw Spirit! The Guinness World Record Event will take place during the game. Chips will be distributed, and at the designated time, everyone together will CRUNCH! There is currently no record of this caliber in the Guinness Book, and with your help, we can put Troyer Farms on the map!

Special buy-one-get-one free ticket coupons for Saturday's game are available on Troyer Farms products at participating Country Fair locations.

Troyer Farms is excited to partner with the Erie Otters on this event. The Erie Otters are celebrating 12 years of great hockey. "What better way to join two hometown favorites!" says Carrie Rospierski, Marketing Director at Troyer Farms.

The Troyer Family has been growing potatoes since the late 1930's, and chipping them since 1967. Troyer Farms is the only chip company in the nation with products made from their own homegrown potatoes.

2008 is an exciting year for not only Troyer Farms, but the Waterford/Erie area as well. Look for the Troyer name where you and your family enjoy spending time, and watch for them at local events. Troyer Farms has been around for 40 years and we'd like to thank you for your support. We couldn't have done it without you!
