Greyhounds Gajewski added to OHL All-Star Classic in Sault Ste. Marie

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds' goaltender Kyle Gajewski has been added to the Western Conference roster for the 2008 OHL All-Star Classic at the Steelback Centre in Sault Ste. Marie on February 6, 2008.

Gajewski replaces Steve Mason of the Kitchener Rangers, who was called up to the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League as an emergency replacement on Tuesday.

Gajewski, a 20-year-old native of London has posted a 28-12-1-3 record and is third among OHL goaltenders with a 2.51 goals against average in 45 games this season. He will make his first OHL All-Star appearance in front of his home crowd during his fourth season with the Greyhounds.

The 2008 OHL All-Star Classic will feature 40 of the league's brightest stars in an Eastern Conference versus Western Conference showdown format. It is a two-day event that includes the OHL All-Star Skills Competition and Three-on-Three Game on Tuesday February 5, along with the All-Star Luncheon and OHL All-Star Classic on Wednesday February 6.

The 2008 OHL All-Star Classic is supported by OHL partners Boston Pizza, All Weather Windows, Subway, NAPA, Yamaha and Reebok and will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet.
