Sea Dogs/ Red Sox Ticket Packages Go On Sale Tuesday

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs have announced that, for the third straight year, they will offer innovative ticket packages that will include both Portland Sea Dogs games and a Boston Red Sox game. These unique ticket packages will go on sale on Tuesday, February 5th at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field box office and by phone (207-879-9500). The packages will not be available online.

Three ticket packages will be offered, each featuring tickets to four Sea Dogs games and one Red Sox game. Package #1 includes a right field grandstand seat ticket to the September 1st game against the Baltimore Orioles and costs $62 for adults and $58 for children (16 and under) and seniors (62 and over). Package #2 features a bleacher seat ticket to the July 11th game against the Orioles, costing $58 for adults and $54 for children and seniors. Package #3 includes a bleacher seat ticket to the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim game on July 29th, costing $58 for adults and $54 for children and seniors.

The Red Sox have already sold more than 2.3 million tickets for the 2008 season and have sold out 388 consecutive regular season games at Fenway Park. These packages offer Sea Dogs fans the opportunity to see the Sea Dogs stars of today and follow their path to the big leagues. Last season, 13 former Sea Dogs played for the Boston Red Sox, including All-Stars Josh Beckett and Jonathan Papelbon, American League Rookie of the Year Dustin Pedroia, and Gold Glove winner Kevin Youkilis. Clay Buchholz, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Jon Lester all played for the both the Sea Dogs and Red Sox in 2007.

The Sea Dogs Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sea Dogs tickets are governed by normal Sea Dog ticket policies and Red Sox tickets will be governed by Red Sox ticket policies. No refunds, exchanges or substitutions will be permitted. Game times are subject to change. Tickets for these packages are extremely limited; packages will be offered for as long as supplies last.

The Portland Sea Dogs open their 15th season on April 3rd at New Britain. The home opener is slated for Friday, April 11th at 6:00 PM against the New Britain Rock Cats.
