The FireAntz defeated the Pee Dee Cyclones 8-5 Sunday and set another team record, winning their 10th consecutive game. The victory places them 1 shy of the all-time SPHL record for consecutive victories. The FireAntz are now in sole possession of second place in the SPHL, just two points behind the league leading Columbus Cottonmouths.

The FireAntz only have 2 home games remaining in the regular season. Next Friday, March 16th, the FireAntz host the Richmond Renegades on the FireAntz annual "Beach Swimwear Night" and the FireAntz are trying to break their own record of 7,757 fans in attendance.
