NORFOLK, Va. -- Thursday night's International League doubleheader between the Indianapolis Indians and Norfolk Tides has been cancelled due to heavy rain on the East Coast.
Indianapolis wraps up its 2006 home slate with a pair of weekend games against Louisville. The Indians and Bats will square off on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The series will have playoff implications for both teams. Indianapolis (74-64) and Toledo (74-64) are currently tied for first place in the IL's West Division, while Louisville (73-66) is just 1.5 games back.
