Halifax Mooseheads announced the first round of cuts tonight, trimming seven players from their 2006 Training Camp roster.
Mooseheads released two defencemen; Andrew Coles and Matthew Leverman, and five forwards; Jonathan McArthur, Cody Roland, Garreth MacPherson, Justin Dubroy and Jesse Forrest.
The seven cuts leave a total of 38 players at the camp; five goaltenders, 12 defencemen and 22 forwards.
