
Bats sweep Braves

LOUISVILLE, KY - The Louisville Bats beat the Richmond Braves 3-1 Thursday at Louisville Slugger Field. The Bats swept the four game series and have beaten Richmond eight straight times.
The Bats scored a run in the second on an RBI single by William Bergolla. Richmond tied the game in the fifth when Martin Prado chased a run home with a single. Louisville moved in front to stay in the sixth on an RBI triple by Bergolla. Bergolla added a third RBI in the eighth when he knocked in a run with a double.
Tom Shearn picked up the win. Brad Salmon notched a save. Daniel Curtis took the loss. Bergolla had three hits for the Bats. Prado had two hits for the Braves.
The Braves return home tomorrow night to face Charlotte at 7 PM.
