The final weekend of the 2005 regular season is upon us. The Nuts have a lot of fun in store for the best fans in the California League this weekend. Tonight, we welcome back Dancing Christopher. Dancing Christopher entertained the crowd in the first half of the season and he is back on Friday night by popular demand. The Nuts end the season with back-to-back fireworks extravaganzas on Saturday and Sunday. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
Don't forget about Family Photo Day on Sunday prior to the regular season finale. Arrive at the ballpark early and get your photo taken with your favorite Modesto Nuts player or coach. Photo Day will take place in right field from 5:05 p.m. - 5:25 p.m.
Don't forget to purchase your Scorecards during the final homestand of the season. Each purchase will give you the chance to win one of many great prizes, including mini bobble heads, California League prospect sets and much more! Scorecards will be available for $1 all weekend.
In honor of fan appreciation weekend, all ticket stubs from Friday (8/26) and Saturday (8/27) can be redeemed for a complimentary general admission ticket on Sunday, August 28th. Hold onto your stub and watch the final fireworks show of the 2005 season for free!
The Modesto Nuts magic number to make the playoffs is six. Any combination of Modesto Nuts victories and Bakersfield Blaze losses that equal six will clinch a playoff berth for the Nuts.
The Nuts will make a major announcement this weekend giving all fans an opportunity to pick up complimentary general admission tickets at select Central Valley locations. Stay tuned for your chance for free playoff tickets!
