Halifax Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today that Mooseheads' winger Marc-Andre Bernier has been called up by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
Bernier, 19, who contributed 9 points (4 goals, 5 assists) in 12 games during the Mooseheads playoff drive to the QMJHL Final Series, and 50 points (27 goals, 23 assists) in 65 games during the regular season, will report immediately.
Manitoba currently lead the Rochester Americans three games to one in their best-of-seven AHL North Division final, with game five of the series set for the MTS Centre in Winnipeg tomorrow (Friday) night.
