
Mooseheads add three players to Protected List

Halifax Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today that the Halifax Mooseheads have added three players to their protected list.
Mooseheads have signed free agent forward Colby Pridham, defenceman Alexandre Soucy and goaltender James Kohout.
A 5'11", 165 lb. winger, Pridham, 17, born August 7, 1987 at O'Leary, PE, is currently playing with the Charlottetown Abbies of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, where he has accumulated 19 goals, 25 assists, for 44 points, with 44 penalty minutes in 39 games.
Soucy, 17, a 6'01", 160 lb defenceman, born at Moncton, NB June 7, 1987, has 3 goals, 5 assists, 47 penalty minutes in 34 games with Campbellton Tigers of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League this season.
A 17-year-old goaltender, Kohout, 6'03, 175 lbs, was recently elevated to the Indian Ice Junior A team of the United States Hockey League after beginning the season with the Massachusetts Midget Tier 1 Selects, where he recorded a record of 12 wins, 1 loss, 2 ties in 15 games, with 5 shutouts and a 1.50 goals against average.
