
Bowman to perform Mooseheads Coaching Seminar

Scotty Bowman, the winningest coach in NHL history, will host the next edition of the Halifax Mooseheads Coaching Series.
Mr. Bowman, who led his teams to a record nine Stanley Cup championships, will be the Mooseheads' guest January 29, 2005 to conduct a coaching seminar prior to the Mooseheads' home game against the Val d'Or Foreurs. Mr. Bowman amassed 1244 wins, an NHL record, coaching St. Louis, Montreal, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Detroit between 1967 and 2002.
Mooseheads majority owner Bobby Smith stated, "The Halifax Mooseheads are extremely pleased to have Scotty Bowman, the greatest coach in hockey history, present a coaching seminar for the benefit of Halifax-area coaches and hockey enthusiasts."
The Mooseheads Coaching Series, in its second season, brings nationally renowned coaching experts to Halifax for the benefit of area coaches, parents and fans.
