(Nashua, NH) - The Nashua Pride announced today that Thursday, June 17th will be Watergate Night at Historic Holman Stadium. The team will be recognizing the 32nd anniversary of the break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a complimentary bobble head doll featuring former president Richard M. Nixon. Nixon, who resigned the presidency in 1974 over his part in Watergate, won a record three New Hampshire primaries.

"President Nixon and Watergate are both a part of our national history," said Pride General Manager Todd Marlin. "We're honoring Mr. Nixon for his achievement of winning three state primaries, but also having a little fun with the Watergate anniversary."

The team will also recognize the two reporters who helped uncover the scandal, with anyone named Woodward or Bernstein receiving free admission into the ballpark. In addition, fans will be able to have their tickets shredded at the front gate, the game will be played without PA announcements or music for 18 ? minutes in the third inning and selected seats will be "bugged" with prizes.

The Pride continue a six-game homestand tonight at Historic Holman Stadium, sending Juan F. Pena to the hill against Kyle Goldwater and the Atlantic City Surf. Game time is 6:35 PM. Great seats are still available. For more information, call the Pride ticket office at 883-2255, log on to nashuapride.com or visit the Holman Stadium Box Office at 67 Amherst St. in Nashua.
