Syracuse, NY- The Syracuse SkyChiefs announced today that Right handed Pitcher Bob File will join the team on a Major League Rehabilitation Assignment. Also, Outfielder Chad Hermansen was placed on the Disabled List.
File, 26, has pitched for Syracuse in each of the four seasons. He has appeared in 65 games in the Majors with Toronto where he is 5-4 in his career with a 3.94 ERA.
Hermansen hit .368 this season for Syracuse before being promoted to Toronto where he appeared in 3 games going 0-8. He was outrighted to Syracuse on April 21st when Howie Clark was recalled by the Blue Jays.
