BRADENTON, FL (Tuesday, February 17, 2004) – The MetroStars dropped a 1-0 decision to the Colorado Rapids in a 60-minute scrimmage today at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Mark Chung tallied the lone goal of the game for the Rapids in the 22nd minute. Chris Henderson set up the goal when he played a cross from the right side into the MetroStars 18-yard box. Chung leaped above defenders to meet the ball and head it past MetroStars goalkeeper Zach Wells.

Despite surrendering the goal, Wells played solid for the second consecutive day for the Metros. The UCLA product made many saves to keep the Colorado lead at 1-0.
