USNT's Paul Mara Named Head Coach of the Boston Pride

May 30, 2018 - BROOKLYN, NY - Paul Mara, an assistant coach with 2018 Olympic gold medal-winning Team USA, has been named head coach of the Boston Pride. The 38-year-old Mara, a native of Belmont, Mass., was an NHL defenseman for 732 games over 12 seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Phoenix Coyotes, Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens and Anaheim Ducks. March 4, 2018 - The Boston Pride and Connecticut Whale came into Saturday night with third place on the line. Moreover, this particular game honored Denna Laing, a member of the Boston Pride who was tragically injured in the 2015 Outdoor Women's Classic.
