Game Keys -Willie Collazo pitched five solid innings allowing one earned run and the Z's offense contributed with 7 runs as the visiting Zephyrs defeated Reno 7-2 in front of 7,088 fans at Aces Ballpark. The win snaps the Zephyrs five game losing streak.

The game was tied at two in the fifth inning when Z's outfielder John Raynor drove in a pair of runs with a two RBI double. Raynor had a pair of doubles in the game prior to leaving with an injury in the sixth. John Purdom drilled a two out 2 RBI double in the sixth to give New Orleans a 6-2 lead. Ryan Klosterman added a home run for the Z's in the seventh inning. The Zephyrs bullpen silenced the Aces pitching four innings of shut our baseball.

The Z's continue the eight game Nevada trip with the second game of the series on Friday.

Game Notes: The win is the first for a Zephyrs starter since May 6th. The Z's promoted pitcher Dave Davidson to the Marlins on Thursday. Alejandro DeAza and John Koronka will join the Zephyrs on Friday in Reno.
