Gookie Dawkins hit a three-run home run in the 9th inning to give the New Orleans Zephyrs a 4-2 come from behind win over the Omaha Royals at Rosenblatt Stadium on a cool Wednesday evening.

The Royals broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning with a solo home run for Cory Aldridge. The Z's Dave Matranga started the 9th inning rally with a single, followed by a Alejandro DeAza single and the Dawkins home run. Dawkins drove home all four of the Zephyrs runs in the win.

The win is the 19th come from behind win of the season and the third win after trailing after eight innings. Chris Mobley pitched three innings of relief and was the beneficiary from the homer as he went from losing pitcher to winning pitcher.

Dawkins has hit three of his five home runs this season on this roadtrip. He has 12 hits in his last 20 at bats. New Orleans is 4-2 on the 15 game roadtrip.
