Game Keys - The Omaha Royals and New Orleans Zephyrs played 10 innings on Friday night at Rosenblatt Stadium in front of 23,532 fans and are tied at two. The teams were tied through ten innings and played through rain from the 7th inning on. Prior to the start of the tenth the skies opened and the rain delay started.

The game was delayed for 44 minutes and will be suspended until the next time the Zephyrs are in Omaha. The Zephyrs are scheduled to play a five game series in Omaha in late August. The game will be picked up in the eleventh inning as part of a doubleheader. The season ending road trip will now be a 15 game road trip. Game Notes: The attendance on Friday night of 23,532 is the largest to see the Zephyrs in over a decade. The Z's played their 5th extra inning game in their last 12 games.

Coming Up: The Zephyrs open their longest homestand of the season on Independence Day. The Z's start a four game set with the Iowa Cubs. The Z's will start RH Hayden Penn (0-0, 3.60) against RH Esmailin Caridad (3-9, 4.07) at 6:00 PM. Promotion: Postgame Fireworks and Concert, TV: CST Radio: WIST 690 AM
