
Yetman Nets Two, Erie Falls 4-3 to North Bay

North Bay, Ontario - The Battalion defeated the Otters 4-3 in North Bay, despite a two-goal performance by Chad Yetman.
Brandon Coe opened the scoring for North Bay just four minutes and 27 seconds into the first period. Yetman got the Otters on the board at the 11:30 mark of the first period and Drew Hunter got his first assist of the game. Austen Swankler potted a powerplay goal for Erie less than four minutes later. Maxim Golod and Hunter assisted on the Swankler goal, which gave the Otters a 2-1 lead after one period.
Yetman scored his second of the game from Jacob Golden at the 6:56 mark of the second period to make the score 3-1 Erie. North Bay's Brad Chenier responded quickly by scoring 32 seconds later to make the score 3-2. Erie went into the second intermission ahead by a goal.
North Bay turned its deficit into a lead in the third period by notching two powerplay goals in 29 seconds. The Battalion held on to defeat the Otters 4-3.
The Otters will look to rebound Friday, December 13, with their road matchup against the Sudbury Wolves at 7:00 p.m.
